I've been tossing around ideas for a new system for my car for the past few months. I am leaning for SQ right now, but I want it to be loud and clear (is that sq haha?).
I am pretty sure I am going to get the Clif Designs QX6500C's.
I wanted to put these in the doors and put something else in some kick panels I'll be glassing. I really want to do the kick panels, so should I put these in them? I also wanted to put something else in the front with these components. Should I get some type of midwoofer/midbass to go in the doors or kicks?
My original plan was putting these comps in the kicks and some cheaper comps in the doors, but i read up on noise cancellation and tossed that idea. I was planning on putting some cheap coaxials in the rear doors for rear fill. Would this also be bad due to cancellation? I've heard from many to just ditch the rear fills, but I kinda wanted them so people could hear better in the back (or will they hear okay from the front stage?).
I was thinking maybe the Clif comps in the doors and some midbass in the kicks. I could actually make an enclosure out of the kicks, so that would be good for the midbass/midwoofers.
Any ideas would be appreciated...thanks

Do either kick panels or doors, not both.  You want all drivers in a component set to be grouped closely together.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

So two component sets is a bad idea? Components in the doors midbass in kicks?
