My ’89 Firebird

Here are some pictures of my first project. I made it out of fiberglass because there would have been alot of trick cuts. Also I liked the looks of a fiberglass finish. My car is a 89' Firebird

*Note no resperator soon bought one after this layer being outside with big fan wasn't enough air circulation*
The flimsy mold complete:

Fastforward a few layers....
The begining of fleece stage:

*Note MDF center piece to divide the two subs and added extra support*
Test fitted my box turned out to be to high and hit the hatch
So I cut it down some:

Test fit again worked out. So streached on fleece and here it is after a layer of fiberglass:

that looks great, but tell me, where do you plan to put your amp at? and how many watts?

Amp - Rockford Fosgate P8002
Subs - 12" Alpine Type Rs
Head Unit - Pioneer DEH-17
Work to be done:
New head unit, dash speakers, rear 6x9's and an amp rack for amp. Will probally do an amp rack when I get new amp to run 6x9's and dash speakers.

Looks better than any of the pre-fab boxes made for that car. Great job nice and clean.
