2004 vulcan 1600 classic, horns

 Hello ! I have a 2004 Vulcan 1600 Classic that I am attempting to put  two chrome 12v horns on. I want to use existing horn switch. Factory horn has 2 wires going to it 1 wich has 12 v when switch is turned on that goes to fuse box other wire goes to horn switch. From horn switch I have a wire wich goes to the front regulator { looks like in diagram } When I hook up one of the new horns to existing setup it will make a faint sound { factory horn does great} . I Have attempted to add the relay wich instructions have #85 from horn switch being grounded #30 to battery jumped to #86 #87 to horn then grounding 2nd horn terminal. This does not work and I don't want to blow up anything! Can someone please give me a suggestion on what to attempt !! Thank You !!!

remove the wire you have connected to 85.  Apply ground to 85, do the new horns blow?

Problem solved !!! Thank you for your help !!!  #86 is pos wire from horn switch #30 is to pos battery #85 from horn switch ground wire #87 wich is then hot when switch pushed to horn and 2nd horn terminal to ground2004 vulcan 1600 classic, horns -- posted image.
