HI - I was wondering if any of my fellow riders have tried the shark systems. They seem to have perfect reviews and my girlfriend wants to buy on for me for chrismas. http://www.gooddeals18.com/product/SHKCYCLERADIOKIT250/250-watts-Motorcycle--yacht-2-speakers--amplifier--radio-pkg.html

The 250 seems like the best deal to me

The bullet speakers seem ok http://www.gooddeals18.com/product/SHKMRC3080DBC/Shark-250w-motorcycle-audio-system-W--new-3-speakers.html

but dont know if its worth the extra cash - does anyone have a suggestion on which way to go - Thanks - Happy thanks giving

i am an idiot

Best case scenario, 17.5 watts per channel.

On no - it must be another Honda!
Not another pending flat battery issue?

I have a 2 speaker set up on my SV650 amd am running less power than that.  17.5 should be fine.  i can hear mine up about 60-70 just fine with a full face helmate.  Also to the battery comment.  It is true that most bikes do nto have that much extra current being produced and it can lead to battery issues, but i have neve had one.  If you sit in a parkinglot playing the music with the bike off, well obviously you will have issues.  playing it while driving you should be fine.  If you want some more info or to se pics of my set up, send me a PM

If your cousin is such a good installer, and he will install anything for a 6 pack; why are you talking to me?

My battery comment referred to another thread where the alternator wasn't big enough. The poster did not seem to understand that nothing would change that... ie, extra batteries would merely extend reserve time, and that solar or wind or another generator or charging at home was the only fix other than lower volume or smaller amp.
