Hey everyone,
my opinion on the JL slash series in case anyone was considering purchasing some. Seen a lot of debate about those and the PDX line but havent tried the PDX.
I had an Alpine MRD 1005 and an alpine MRP-F250 and recently purchased a JL 300 4v2 and a 1000 1v2 to replace them on a whim. IMO they are far superior to the two alpines I had in terms of clarity and smooth bass. I saw alot of discussion between alpine and JL and I have been converted to the darkside. I didnt figure there would be as much difference as there was between the two but was surpised. Dont get me wrong I love alpine still but for amps not so much anymore however the two I replaced werent PDX's JL Slash Series Review - FYI -- posted image. Now I wonder what they sound like compared to the PDX line. It was a tie between those so I flipped a coin and went JL. Anyone done a side by side comparison?

My luck if I hear a PDX I will want to switch again! Its an addiction
the JL is on 2 G5's with passive radiators btw tuned to 31 hz in a .5 cu in box per sub.
