Setting up a system for a boat, just looking for second opinions on whether or not I am providing enough power to my amps. Here is a list of equipment:
2 Rockford Fosgate Power T1500-1bd Amps(running at 2 ohms each, approx. 1200 Watts RMS each)
4 Rockford Fosgate Power T600-4 Amps(2 running bridged at 4 ohms 2 running stereo at 4 ohms, approx 450 Watts RMS each)
2 Kicker L7 12" Subs
4 Pairs of Diamond Audio D661i 6-1/2" Coaxial Speakers
2 Pairs of Diamond Audio D661 6-1/2" Component Speakers in Towers
Rockford tech says the 6 amps together are going to pull 500 amps of continuous current. My current plan is to run 2 Kinetik Audio HC1400 Power Cells as a secondary battery, use a high output alternator(hoping to get it rewound to at least 200 amps, not sure yet what we can get yet)and a Rockford Fosgate 10 Farad Hybrid Cap if nothing else just as a safety net. My customer almost never has the stereo on without at least idling the boat, and if he does, it's only for 5 minutes at the most.
Anybody have any comments, ideas, criticism, approval or anything to say about this set up?

Make sure your customer has paddles for his boat!

I will put money on the fact that "5 minutes at the most" is NOT the truth. The boat's I have worked on....the majority of the listening is done sitting in a cove, pounding Corona's with the anchor down......for more than 5 minutes......attempting to impress all your friends.

You (suggestion) should over engineer a boat system. 500 amps.... thas a bunch!
