07 Mustang, python 990. Should I hook up the starter kill wires? ie cut the green starter wire, or just hook up the purple wire? I already have chips in my keys. Also if a thief just pulls the fuse to my alarm brain, would they still be able to start the car with the wire cut in half, or would they need to reconnect it to start it?

a starter kill is not required, but it sure is nice to have. If u want to install the starter kill, cut the start wire and attach green towards key cylinder and purple towards car starter motor. If a theif pulls the fuse, which they wont since its hard to get to, or cut your power, yes they can still start the car. however, there are many variations on how to install the starter kill. check out the starter kill section and u will see what is best for your application.
