Hello all,

I just sent my OLD analog 210v to DEI for replacement/upgrade to the digital network unit.

i myself am NOT a DEI "authorized" installer, however i do all my own work on ALL my trucks, i am a electrical engineer and more then capable.

For my original 210 i had a friend at a stereo shop set up the unit, since you need the PALM software and cable.

However my luck he no longer works for a stereo shop, so i am no in the bind. I have a new digital GPS 210v unit comming to me from DEI, and have no problem installing it, however i need a way to SET IT UP!.

Does ANYONE know what the PIN OUTs are for the set up cable?!

id love to have the capabilities to do it myself.

I belelive i still have the palm software but was just never able to acquire the cable or the pinouts for the cable..

any help on this would be awsomly appreacited..

The new unit does not need the Palm to do the setup any longer. You can do your inital setup by phone. Let me know how it goes. I may have a question for you after you get your system. Thanks Cal

Are you sure about that?

I have the new unit i finally received, I am waiting for the next nice day to install the new unit, probably going to be a couple months.
