Just installed a Valet model 562t and a XK01 doorlock & alarm interface. It works fine but when I use the remote start the service engine light comes on and the trans does not shift right. If you use the key it runs fine. Any ideas

make sure you have 2nd ign hooked up white wire, and accessory orange wire, also make sure the 2nd ign does not drop out when the engine cranks.

Just cheked wiring looks right. I am going to get meter to chek for drop out. I think there is also a brown acc wire from the switch , does it have to be tied in to the remot start.

this is what I got from switch red=12 volt   red-white=12 volt   pink is hot with ing then drops to 9.8 volts at start   orange is hot in run only  white is hot in acc and run but drops to 9.8 at start   brown is hot in acc and run only. The relay satellite that these wire go to has another hot wire that it says to use if it is needed , how do you know if it is needed?

The aux relay must be set to igntion and wired to the white wire that is up there beside the brown and orange wires. This is your second igntion and is required to prevent tranny damage among other things.

today added 12 volts to the wire that is to be used if you need extra power to and everything works. I have set everything up but to unlock doors you have to push the unlock button 3 times. The first time you push the relay clicks but does nothing. 2nd time it relocks the doors and the 3rd it unlocks.
