my car has an old dei remote start system in it called "your valet" it worked great until i got rear ended now whenever i remote start it the parking lights just flash it still starts and works fine but the parking lights never stop flashing. i went and looked and everything is hooked up right except there is no hood pin hooked up. it is in a 1993 honda accord, i dont know when it was installed just that bestbuy installed it. there are only jumpers on the brain for tach and run time.  any help or ideas would be great.

outlaw47,

bestbuy installer

Parking lights flashing is the Default on DEI Stuff.
Find the model number on the brain and look up the install manual online. You may find how to reprogram the brain

Do they constantly flash until you get in and hit the brake pedal?
1 12" mtx 9500 4ohm dvc 1 8100d and 1 1501d almost loud enough to cover the sounds of my car dying.

since they only flash   when the car is remote started. just re program the unit to steady. need to find what model you have then look in manual how to change. some how the unit got back to default settings
