i am now going to install my compustar 2W900FMRAS with XK05 softw.PKN2 in my car. found this for the wiring: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~87525
I am not sure how to connect the compustar to the XK module. here's the wiring for the module: http://www.xpressdownload.com/getdocument.aspx?documentid=614
It says in regards of the brown cable: Ground When Running???
This is my first time with an immobilizer bypass. Have to connect a pink wire to the cars ECM?? cable wich i believe is going to give the compustar the right to start the car. Am i right or totally off?
Need a small push in the right direction.
Thanks!

Just use the RS232 port on the back of the Compustar system and this will take care of the bypass, power, ground and ground when running.

Hi Jeff, thanks 4 ur answer. I thougt it was like that. And forgive me for not seeing this.. i cannot find the connection. There is no label stating RS232 on the connection table. I'm sure its there, i even read the compustar recommend users to use the rs232. what do they call it then? not a word in the manual. i know it's 4 cables involved, but i am so not sure which ones it is. The version i have is Called CM3000-VD
Sorry again, this is a bit confusing for a newbee..
Thanks!
