Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the doors/mirrors on a 06 f150?
looking for the color and functions of the wires...
Heres what I am trying to do.....
As of now I only have power mirrors (No heat, puddle, or signal).
Looking to add OEM replacement towing mirrors with heat, signal and puddle.
wanted to see if I have the wring already in my doors.
Thanks for the help!

You may want to contact these guys:

I did an Expedition not long ago, and they actually make the OEM stuff.

I have a Ford Explorer and when my brother broke off my Driver Side mirror, I went to the Dealership and bought the OEM heated Mirror.  Originally I didn't have heated Mirrors, but I'm smart, I figured I could get the Heat working. :o)  Anyway, I plugged it in and tested it, The heat automatically worked. The car was prewired from the factory for the heat. Since its Ford offers it as OEM, maybe the car is prewired>

here are directions to install aftermarket turn signal mirrors. On page 4 it shows you how to tell if your car is prewired or not.  If not, later on in the directions it shows you how to find the directional wires under the dash.

I'm sure the puddle lamp wire is there also, how where you checking for it.  On my explorer its a postive trigger and it does come on with the interior dome light BUT not while the car is running.  If you had the ignition on maybe you missed the wire while testing. Just have the car off and turn on the dome lights at the switch.  If worst comes to worst and it is not there, you can use the domelight wire BLACK/ Blue running along the drivers side running board along side the drivers seat.  That wire is Positive, and there are more than one so check with your meter.

I was checking them off of a wire diagram for an 05 which should be the same for 06.... but I was not actually testing them with my meter I just wanted to see if they were there.
The wires I had at the pin were
Pin location--(drivers side)
emptyempty
emptyempty
Red-    mirror movement            empty
Yellow- mirror movement            empty
yellow- mirror movement            empty
blue   -   mirror movement        empty
black -   Ground   GREEN / WHITE-signal
GREEN/ purple - heat Black- ground
I have 9 wires according to the diagram I should have 10 including the puddle lamp wire....which would be BLACK/ lt. blue...
A far as picking it up in the sill that would not be a problem as I already hooked up to that wire for my remote stater for the dome light.....so that would work at good.
One more question....for the defrost/heat wire in the mirror I do not have a defrost button now....I Believe the mirrors heat all the time, so that wire should always have current going through it right?
