I know the 5 wire lock system has been discussed on here many times. This has got me stumped. I'm installing a CodeAlarm CA-170 alarm w/ keyless in a '93 Mustang. I've wired in 2 relays using both, the diagram found on this site as well as the way the install manual describes doing it. With everything hooked up to the relays, the factory door switches function normally. But when I arm/lock the alarm, the +12v relay feed wire fuse pops. I've tested the wires to be sure that I have the switch and motor sides of the wires in the right spot on the relays. I'm acessing the pink/green and pink / YELLOW lock/unlock wires at the drivers kick panel below a gray plug.

I'm really beyond frustrated at this point, I've spent most of today on this with no solution.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys might offer....N

Hey, is this supposed to spark like that?
