I installed a clifford 50.5x r/s in my 2000 crown vic.  Right now its setup to voltage check, because I cant find my tach wire.  Does anyone know exactly where it is direct techs says its under hood at the pcm (WHITE/ pink)

Ive had no luck so far ive found like 3 wires that are WHITE/ pink, but when I try to learn the tach the led never turns on.

Any how with voltage check if I have my a/c on the car shuts down after 10 secs.  the manual says if this happens to hook tach wire.  I live in texas so yall know how hot it gets down here.  I need my a/c to turn on when I remote start.

thanks

i work on crown vic there is no tach wire in this cars they use data for tack signal the best option is voltage check, it should not shut down if starts you probably did not program it for voltage yet and also if it doesn't start in the first try try programing the crank a litle longer

thanx, Well it starts on voltage check (thats how I have it now) when I have my a/c off, no problems like that.

When I leave my a/c on it will start, but shut down after 10 sec., Iv'e energized ign, 2nd ign, acc., but nothin on 2nd acc.

have you check to see if you have the voltage to high or low it probably dies if the voltage is set to high when it senses the voltage

drops too low when the ac kicks in try programing maybe it work
