Hi Guys!

Had a Viper 5701 installed in my car but I am having issues with the remote start. The car primes but doesnt crank now ive had a look at the wiring and there are 2 wires that arnt connected that i believe to be the cause, one is labeled H3/2 RED / White - (+) 30a fused ignition 2/ flex relay, pin 87, input (this has a 30amp inline blade fuse, and H3/9 RED / Black - 30a fused accessory/starter relay input. Where would i hook these up too? on the back of the key barrel theres a thick red constant power wire that h3/6 Red is attached too is this the correct one? The Loom is H3.

also i have the 530T window lift module, I arm the alarm however the alarm goes off before the windows reach the top and switch off, im not quite sure how to fix this. I see comfort closure listed in the manual as a feature but im guessing is only programable by a bitwriter. Seems the 530T has not been hooked up into one of the 4 auxillary channels but into the lock pulse in on the H2/4 Orange Ground When Armed. h2/3 RED / White Auxillary Input and H2/5 Gray (-) output during activation states "Connect this wire top optional replay to bypass sensors that may trigger the security system during operation, This wire continues to output (-) ground for 5 seconds after the window motors have stopped.

Anyway, any help anyone could give me would greatly be appreciated! My cars been in pieces for 4 days now and im kind of wanting to get it back together! :)

Sorry didnt make that very clear h2/5 Gray - (-) output during activation and H2/3 Auxiliary Input are both not connected. Also as i need to send timed pulses to the 530T does anyone know if aux 1/2/3 come in Validity mode? and if theres any way of changing this without a bit writer.? Thankss!!!

Make/Model/Year car?

The RED / Black needs to be connected to B+ that can feed enough current to the starter motor wire.

For the 530T, you can turn on the comfort closure using the valet switch. This will delay arming by 20 seconds.

Your second option: connect the H2/5 gray output to the H1/7 dark blue trunk pin input of the 5701 - this should shunt the impact sensor until the window is closed. Out of curiosity, what zone is showing up as triggered when you arm?

:) 94 Nissan Skyline ECR33.  (im from Australia) its a Japanese import. On the H3 loom you mentioned the RED / Black but do you know where the  H3/2 RED / White - (+) 30a fused ignition 2/ flex relay, pin 87, input goes?

The trunk imput isnt being used as i have an interior light in the trunk and i havnt tested it yet but im pretty sure it will go off if opened. Is it possible to have both the trunk switch and the 530T connected to the same input?

I havnt actually checked that (its 2am here) and it was getting quite late when i gave up and decided to do a little surfing :).

Yah just finished installing this autostart feature yesterday on my EVO.  I was having the same problem as you.. The RS will start but it wont crank the motor.  The problem was the RED / black wire needed a constant 12v to power the starter.

Also .. another issue I had was I forgot to bypass the clutch switch.. Dunno if you have this on your car but on my car the clutch has to be depressed in order for the vehicle to start.  So if you have this feature on your skyline you will need to bypass this as well.

There is an on-board relay called the flex relay which can be either start or accessory or ignition. The H3/2 wire is the input feed to the flex relay. If you're using that relay then the H3/2 needs to be connected to a B+ 30 amps max. If the flex relay output isn't used then don't connect the H3/2.

The way you will know if you use this relay is if the pink/wht wire is connected anywhere.

This pnk/wht wire is for cars with a second ignition, second accesory, or second starter.  By defualt from the factory it is set as a second ignition wire.. To change its function see pg.65 menu 3 feature 8.

So if you have a second ignition wire or any of the above mentioned.  Yes connect this RED / wht wire and program your flex relay to the necessary function.
