I have had a prostart CT-3400 TW (remote starter) installed in my Trail Blazer for about a year now. Just recently the remote got damaged so I bought a new one. I re-programmed the remote as per the instructions and the remote will unlock/lock and start the vehicle but the remote display does NOT show the chnaged status (eg, doors locked or car running) - the 2way update is not working. Thinking this was a remote specific issue I returned the remote and bought another only to find it does the same thing. Do I have two defective remotes? or is there more programing required than just enrolling the remote (as per the instructions that came with the replacement remote. This is the exact remote replaement for this remote starter (CT-300-LCD).

New guy here...
If you have to programe the module to receive the remote's signals.
Isn't there a need to program the remote to receive the module's signals?
