I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe with an Omega Max-E system that I installed a few years ago using the dome light as door trigger. I wanted to use that last door arming feature of the alarm and was told in order to do that I would need to diode isolate the door triggers.  The driver's door trigger is tan at the BCM and the passenger doors Drk Blue at the BCM the doors are negative pulse(Please correct me if I'm wrong) I did not have a 4001 diode available so I used a 4002 or 4003 not sure thinking it would not make a difference. So the cathode end would be connected to the door trigger and the anode end would be connected to the alarm door trigger input. When I did this not only does the last door arming feature not work, but I keep getting a door fault code that will not clear even after the vehicle is started. Strangely the remote start will now not function as well.

Just remember last door or passive arming will drive you mad. It's a bloody nuisance
