First off let me start by saying I'm not a complete idiot when it comes to things like this, I quite installing about 12 years ago so some of the newer stuff confuses me but I usually get it on my own.  Now to my question, I got my hands on an old viper 791XV and I want to put it on my Sierra.  I have read many posts here and I'm confused on the factory arm/disarm part.  I know the disarm output from the unit connects to the Lt. Green disarm wire, but the rearm is where it gets confusing to me, from what I understand, I have to pulse the tan driver door trigger(-) and the blue lock wire(+) both using the factory rearm wire from the unit.  Is this correct?  If so, will this allow me to arm and lock the doors remotely or eliminate whatever other problems people are having such as that.  Also can someone please possible draw a little schematic or something showing my how to wire the relay into that wire to get both the + and - pulses?  Thanks, you guys have always been a great help for me in the past.

Ok...I tried drawing a diagram and realized how horrible I am at that yet again. Anyway, you'll need 1 relay and a total of 4 diodes.
Here's the best I can do without a picture:
The relay would get the following configuration:
86, 87 - 12V constant fused.
30 - lt. blue lock switch wire on truck
85 - factory rearm wire from 791XV.
The factory rearm wire will also need to be connected to the tan (-) driver's door switch on the truck. You will need the first diode inline between the door switch wire connection and the rest of the rearm wire's connections, with the cathode(striped) side facing towards the 791XV (this prevents the relay from being activated constantly while the door is opened).
Your green "(-) door trigger" connection from the 791XV is the next thing. You'll need to use 2 diodes so that the passenger's and driver's door switches remain isolated from each other. Here's an image on how to do that.rs on 2000 gmc sierra -- posted image.
Finally, the 4th diode will need to go inline on the tan driver's door switch wire. The cathode side will face AWAY from the BCM. The rearm output will be connected on the anode side, and the "(-) door trigger" input will be connected on the cathode side. This diode prevents the rearm output from causing the 791XV to alarm when the remote start shuts down while it(the 791XV) is armed.
