hi all.mk6 escort gti remote central locking -- posted image. ive got a s reg mk6 gti with central locking as stantard and ive just bought a upgrade alarm from ebay to make it remote central locking and was wondering if anybody could shed some light on the wiring as its totaly baffleing me.mk6 escort gti remote central locking -- posted image. the alarm has various bits including remote start ect ect but the main bit i want wiring in is the remote door lock part.firstly is the central locking on the car positive triggered or negative trigered? the instructions read......violet 87a (normaly closed)......blue/black (unlock 30 common output.......BROWN / black unlock87 normaly open input......violet/black lock 87a normaly closed.......GREEN/ black lock 30 common output......WHITE/ black lock 87 normaly open input.any ideas? mk6 escort gti remote central locking -- posted image. also im wanting to wire up the boot so it pops by the remote.thanks in advance for any tips or advice. mk6 escort gti remote central locking -- posted image.

its a 98 model. s reg. i forgot to mention its a uk model and a right hand drive mk6 escort gti remote central locking -- posted image.

They are pos. cut and discard the 87a wires join 87 to 12v+ and your 30 wires to the lock unlock in the driver kickwell probably white and yellow primary colours. but check, its a red plug. Years since I've done one

The trunk release wire is by the switch behind the window switches in the consoile and it's neg going. Just connect your trunk release aux output directly to it. If you are about to install the whole caboodle, inc. solenoid good luck.

Read what I said, just connect the aux output to the switches output wire which should be neg. Sorry that year it will be neg, black and something.
