I have a Python 902 installed in my 97' 240sx.

I purchased 4 sensors: 506t,507m,508d,509u.

The manual states I have 2 additional sensor inputs. If I connect the 506t and 509u to these inputs, do I tap the other 2 into these sensors, minus + and - which will be connected to a direct source.

Also, what will be the zones it identifies them as. On the remote it would still show correct areas even if it's tapped into other sensor sources or not?

Zone 4 and 7 are used for extra sensors and can be configured to show the appropriate sensor on the LCD screen. You need to use a Bitwriter programming tool to configure the display. I suggest you put the 507 and 508 into ports 4 and 7 individually. The 508 will false on occasion so connecting it to it's own port will aid in troubleshooting and allow you to bypass the zone when arming with the remote .

The 506 and 509 use a single wire output for connection to the security system. Diode isolate the two then connect them to the H1/7 blue zone 1 wire.

Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.

Well my sensor arrived today. So you are saying to connect 507, and 508 into the extra 2 outputs, and tap 506 and 509 into those sensors?

So, it would be fine to tap 506>507, 509>508. What diode should I look at? I have a few Radio Shacks' near me so that should not be a problem.
