I will be putting the final touches on my alarm system with the window automation system. Would like to see if someone has the wire diagram/codes for the up/down of the front driver and front passenger windows. Also would appreciate some tips or tricks of the trade with this unit.  One question I had was do I need to diode isolate the ground when armed wire to this unit since the orange wire from the brain already is hooked to the starter kill relay and Tilt sensor? It is also my understanding the windows will roll up when arming the alarm system... ? Thank you for any suggestions or comments.

Your window switches are probably data thus you will have to go to the motor wires at each motor.  Look at the post from t&t about Rav4 for how to tell. Motor colours are usually red and green with red up on right side and green up on left but check.  I mounted the units inside the car on my Galant to keep them dry and ran the leads out to each door.  You will probably have to extend the cables. Yes, diode the orange wire, also you will need a second aux output from your alarm R/S to control the venting.

I was hoping to make all the connections at the master switches in my drivers side door.. will that work? or do I need to extend the wiring all the way over to the passenger side switch with that motor? thank you for your help.  According to the intructions I should be able to vent by pressing aux a certain number of seconds..

Read the instructions on the 530t,  if you don't go to the motor side of the switch, i.e. driver and passenger motor wires which you will probably have to anyway because if your switch is data,  you'll lose the one touch functions and the venting on the passenger side.  Incidentally if you have the switch panel in the drivers door which stays live for about 1 minute after removing the key, firstly it's data secondly why are you bothering with window closers it's not needed, remove key and one touch the button,  third there's a way to do this with a relay and some diodes and lots of labour.

I had a question regarding the DEI 530T.. once hooked up will I still be able to control the 2 windows the module is hooked to via my power window switches?  ie when system is not armed or I am driving? thanks

You can do both windows in the driver door that's not a problem and you will be able to use the switches just as before all the 530t does it makes relay connections that go to normal when not being used by the remote start

Ok I was just curious. But I thought you had to make the passenger connections between the motor and the switch on that side. I have all master switches in my drivers door as well as the passenger switch in that door itself.  I have one touch roll down on my drivers door only.  If I make connections in drivers door between switch and passenger door.. I want be sure it will still work properly with the DEI module.

yes as shaip said once hooked correctly everything will function as before, 2002 model lancer it most likely isn't data i've done a couple, they're one of my favourite cars i might add, also if the ground when armed output is already dioded to two inputs i strongly suggest using a relay to boost the  signal, the 530t will give you express up and down on both windows, and venting capabilities via remote

If you go to passenger door motor wires you will retain full factory function AND have 1 touch on the passenger switch. If you wire say at driver's door you will have full factory function but not 1 touch at the passenger door...except I've a '99 Galant, I've also done late '90s Evos and 2000+ Montero/Shogun/Pajero all were data so you have to go to motors...end of.

The one touch function (down) only works on my drivers side door..does that make any difference? I can control the pass window up and down from a master switch though in my drivers door...as well as the 2 rear windows. The thing is I am trying to avoid is removing the pass door panel and make all connections on one side..not having to worry about extending wires.  But sounds like I will have to
