Hi

I installed a Viper 5901 about 3 weeks ago and all was good untill today, I was shopping and came out and tried to remote start I got the no good feedback from the remote then I tried the to unlock nothing the bad feedback again this was all done right next to the car so it was not a range thing I had to use the key and do the valet thing and then the remote started to work does anyone know what this could be?

Defective antenna
Low batteries
Environmental interference
Lost the remote's programming

.. to name a few

Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.

Hey this happen to me about a week ago. What I did was unlocked the car and did a valet override and it started acting normal.

welcome to DEI testing center viper 5901 -- posted image.

...... this is a well known issue that its been solve right now you most likely need to replace antenna and remotes it this continues

yeah so far its only happen to me once. but if it keeps happening i will take it back to dealer where i had it installed. But other the that love this alarm.

It happed to me today at a well know interference spot for my other car that has the viper 771xv in it at costco the same thing happened error no responce but this time i had my one way spare remote with me , that worked!! its like when you get interference with this new 5901 it gets all jammed up.

Now what can do i contact DEI I hear that sucks to do!!
