Hello,

My name is kevin and im new to this site. I have a quick QUESTION. I have a Viper 791xv install on my 99 honda accord alarm was working fine for the 3 months that i have had it. but recently my siren horn stopped working from the alarm so when i check with a test light the brown wire for the siren coming out the main box of the alarm that is a brown wire it stays negitive while the car is on panic and if i aint mistaken while the alarm is on panic it suppose to have power and ground.... my car came with airhorns they look like ones you buy at ur local Autozone and i think there connected directly to my alarm if the case is that the airhorns blew out the siren input of the alarm box (the brown wire).. is there a way to fix this or a way i can still have my horn work when my car on panic i tried to explain this the best i can. thanks you all and hopefully somone can help me.

It seems unlikely;  I assume the airhorns had a relay? The brown siren wire which should go to 12 volts when the alarm is tripped should actuate this relay. That if correctly wired shouldn't burn out the brown wire. Is there not a second siren wire to actuate air horns which can be set on/off or constant? I'll come back to you on this.

Plug H4 There is a second 200ma NEG outut to drive a horn relay. This is not the POS Siren wire. You should check to see what's been done. The air horn operation should have nothing to do with the siren operation except they should work together except when arming and disarming when you should only hear the siren.
