Have fun doing this car. I got information directly from DEI about this vehicle. Out of all the cars that installers call their tech support about, the CTS is the most problematic. They are not difficult in themselves, but many BCM issues. I just did one a couple weeks ago and the car was just freaking out with all sorts of code trips and stuff. Just be prepared to run into some problems! Good luck...

I've only done an '08, but it was pretty much like any new-style GM......like a Cobalt or Impala or whatever.
One ignition, one accessory, your PK3 bypass, and that should be it.
I only did a one-button remote start. Didn't look for locks or trunk or horn.

I'm glad you didn't have any issues. I installed the Viper 5701 and everything worked fine, buy I think there were some data bus issues between the bypass and the car because the BCM was tripping out. Called DEI and they said that is an on-going issue.

Not a difficult car to do at all, like Chris said.  What interface did you use?
