Hi, new here...
Just installed a Ready Remote remote start keyless enty model 24923..
works fine...
I wanna install a switch on my console that will unlock and lock doors..
The remote entry has + outs and I am worried about feeding 12v back into brain when I use switch...
I have a DPDT switch and 4 DEI 610T relays... I see alot of info on -outs from alarm/keyless.... just need to know how to hook relays up so I don't back feed voltage into brain of remote starter/keyless

will the switch be switching twelve volts or ground, if twelve volts then all you would need are a pair of two one amp diodes inline on the trigger wires, band facing away from keyless entry.

I was thinking diode...but wasn't sure...
Been wasting all day figuring out relay wiring....
Sounds easy enough just need diodes...

Seems too easy once I think about it...
wouldnt it need some sort of ground?
Here is a link to the DEI ready remote starter page...

well they shouldn't get hot unless they are blocking current all of the time, for that momentary trigger of the switch is the only time the diodes will be blocking, if they are heating up without the switch being activated then something is wrong! also dei normally makes units with flip flop outputs, it would be alot safer to use the negative pulse to trigger your relays, i noticed you mentioned earlier that you could have changed the setup to negative, all you would have to do if you still want to use the diodes would be to reverse them.
