programing tach

I am having some difficulty programming the tach for a prestige alarm. Im installing in a Ram 1500 2003 with 4.7. I received a diagram of the wiring and tagged the GREEN/ orange wire but the alarm does not seem to allow the programing. I am installing a prestige 995. Any advice would help.

-First off make sure that the unit receives the remote start activation -does the parking lights flash 7 times when you try to remote start with remote?(If not the unit is not getting a signal -Also make sure that the remote start valet switch is plugged into the right place. There is an orange plug and a red plug on the unit-you need the red plug! -To program Tach-Put key in ignition turn to run push valet/program button 3 timmes (should get a confirmation chirp) turn key to off hold button in then start car. Parking lights should flash to confirm then take finger off button parking lights should stay solid Good LuckCruisin Security And Sounds
