I am having some difficulty programming the tach for a prestige alarm. Im installing in a Ram 1500 2003 with 4.7. I received a diagram of the wiring and tagged the GREEN/ orange wire but the alarm does not seem to allow the programing. I am installing a prestige 995. Any advice would help.

-First off make sure that the unit receives the remote start activation
-does the parking lights flash 7 times when you try to remote start with remote?(If not the unit is not getting a signal
-Also make sure that the remote start valet switch is plugged into the right place. There is an orange plug and a red plug on the unit-you need the red plug!
-To program Tach-Put key in ignition turn to run push valet/program button 3 timmes (should get a confirmation chirp) turn key to off hold button in then start car. Parking lights should flash to confirm then take finger off button parking lights should stay solid
Good Luck
