hello.. I lost my install manual for my astrostart 2205 and i need to reprogram a new remote... can someone remind me what color of wire is used for the hood switch? (hood switch was never hooked up) my diagram on the back of the brain box got torn off too...

You do not need the hood pin for programming a new transmitter.

Put dip #8 up, hit the foot brake 1 time, push a button on ALL the remotes you have.... then put # 8 down, and hit the foot brake. done.
