Ok so I have a 2005 silverado crew cab diesel with a viper 5901 and a XK01. My issue is when I arm and disarm the truck my headlights flash opposite of the parking lights. So on arm it flashes parkin lights one the headlights once. Also when I remote start the parking lights come on when I hit the button and stay on while it waits it's 15 seconds to start. Then when it does start the headlights stay on no matter if it's day or night. Even my manual override won't turn them off.
I'm assuming the xk01 is controlling them since they are flashing and my override won't turn them off. So do you think a DLPKGM would still do the same thing? Any other options?
I don't want them blinking because I was thinking about getting HIDs and don't want them prematurely failing. Also I don't like them on when it's remote started because depending on where it's parked, it blinds people while it's just sitting there warming up.

ok this is how you fix this" I your truck you have a dic"drivers information center" you will have to go into the settings to turn off the features for the headlights.

Can you elaborate a little more? If I remember correctly the only headlight option in the DIC is how long they stay on after you turn the ignition off. It is set to 15 seconds and works fine. Thanks for the responce I'll have to check it out.

Does anyone have experince with this? My last truck was also a 2005 silverado and it didn't flash the head light with the arm and disarm, but I don't know which bypass module was in that truck. I'm considering trying a dlpkgm but was trying to get some feedback first.
