I need some help installing a car alarm/Remote start in a 2005 Saturn Ion Redline. I am pretty electronically savvy but this might be over my head. I know that everyone recommends i have a professional do it but i want to learn to do this stuff on my own. I have a lot of questions and i would like to map everything out on the schematic i have of the BCM and ECM and label the wires that need to connect to each other ahead of time so i can just locate the wires and connect them. so that being said i would first like to start with the ignition I know i need a Bypass Module. I have Passlock II. but my car is a Manual so how do i wire up clutch override? and do i need to use relays if i am useing a bypass module? (yes my remote start is designed for manual or automatic so it wont start in gear) Ill start with this and see what people tell me. Thanks everybody for your help ahead of time.

Help us help you - what brand and model of remote start are you attempting to install?
Go to the Vehicle Wiring link at the top of this page; there should be wiring info on an Ion from '03-'07(check each year) that lists the BCM pin locations for the wires.
You've asked "Do I need to use relays if I'm using a bypass module." What difference are you thinking that would make? Not asking sarcastically.

I have an Asian wolf 8000rsx 2-way paging with built in camera. The vehicle wire guide that they have for my car is incomplete. I just meant is there any relays used to connect the bypass module.

This post on the12volt has all the vehicle wiring info you need.
For the clutch bypass - you'll need to determine whether it's normally open(most likely) or normally closed. Once you get to that point you can use a relay to complete/break the circuit as needed.
If you want still more detailed wiring information, go to ALLDATADIY and pay $17 for a subscription for your vehicle.
For the bypass module - there shouldn't be any relays necessary for activation.
If anyone besides the OP is interested, this manual is probably equivalent to the AsianWolf piece.

I have a 2005 Saturn ion redline manual transmission and i am connecting a Scytek vision Guard 8000. The unit says that when connecting to a manual transmission that the following wires must be connected: Tachometer input , Emergency Brake and Door Trigger. what does the door trigger wire get connected to? (i would assume the door trigger but what benefit would this have?) I also want to wire in a neutral safety and I don't see a specified neutral safety wire on the alarm brain however there is a bypass module (needed to bypass my ignition anyways) for manual transmissions i am wondering if this would have a neutral safety wire? and last but not least does anyone know what the neutral safety wire is for this vehicle?

Use a DEI 689m module, neutral safety wire has to see ground during remote start.

The door trigger is part of the "ready mode" for the remote starter. When you get a manual into ready mode, you have to set the system and when exiting the vehicle, the system senses the door open and close and when it closes, shuts down the car and it's ready to be remote started. I just did  a 2005 Ion yesterday and make sure you use a ADS-DL for this vehicle and wire it exactly as shown. All the wires except the parking brake & tach is accessible at the driver's side dash and steering column. If you use the ADS-DL, this will take care of the door locks and OEM alarm controls.
