I have a Viper 5901 installed in my 2004 Chevy 1500 Silverado.  I have the alarm working right but the two way remote quite receiving pages a couple days ago.  It will send the command and the alarm responds correctly with both the 1 way and the 2 way remote but i get a no communication error on the 2 way when using it.  I have tried to reprogram the 2 way to the alarm but it has not helped.  I also disconected the battery for about 1 hour in the 2 way and still did not work after plugging it in.  I am out of ideas and hoping someone may have seen this same problem before.  Thank you for any ideas.

Return the remote to the place that you bought it from and get a new one or look at the antenna and see if it's an antenna problem. Either way, you should be able to get a replacement for either part..... as long as it was purchased & installed at an authorized dealer.

I would love to do that unfortunatley I did the install myself to save on cost of the alarm.  It is looking like that is probably going to come back to bite me now.

it was working fine previously??   then i would unplug the antenna for a couple of minutes and then replug it in..... this will resynch the antenna and may correct the problem.....

I actually had the battery in my truck die due to leaving the headlights on after working on it.  Once jumping the truck the alarm started working correctly.  I can only guess that the power loss reset the brain box.  I appreciate the responses.  Thanks for the help.
