I have been working with this 04 Altima and the tech sheets for this car are all screwy. I have the R/S installed, but im having trouble with the bypass module. Im using a PKALL by DEI. In the install manual it says the vehicle will have a 6 or 8 pin plug on the ignition harness, well the vehicle only has a 4pin one coming from around the ignition. The ignition is located to the right of the steering colum on the dash.  There are no more plugs on or around the ignition other than the light and keysense.

What im looking for is someone who can point me in the right direction on how to hook this bypass up. A wiring diagram or something... We also lost directechs here at the shop, so if someone on here has an account and could attach a tech sheet from them, it would be greatly appreciated. I have tech sheets from audiovox, auto page, and here, but i really need the colors for data, ignition, and security led from the ignition barrel.

Thanks again. David

Sure it's an '04?
You're going by the tenth digit of the VIN, or the customer's registration, or the emissions sticker under the hood, correct?
Some people mistakenly look at the build date (month and year) in the driver's door jamb.
It looks like Nissan changed to their newer style immobilizer for the 2005 model year.....worth a quick check to make sure this one is really an 04.
