Hello All

I have a 2003 mercury marauder with a jti 400s with remote start. the battery went dead and now after i jumped it the alarm will not work. i took the positve cable off the battery waited 20 min put in back on them the alarm chitped i would say 1 time every 20 sec. to get it to stop i would have to put it in valet mode. i tried to program the remotes to the alarm and i can't get it to go in to the program mode. turn k on them off push valet button 8 times listen for 5 chirps. nothing. I can get it to go into the advance mode same as above but hit the valet buttom 10 time and listen. i get chirps from that. so i dont know what the deal is please help thanks Tug.

To enter the programming mode of many alarms, they require you to have a door open. Did you have the door open?

No, not even with the door open will it work
