I have a Viper 5901 that I was about to install on a 2009 Jeep Wrangler. I started going through the wires in all of the harnesses and I discovered that the 64 page DEI installation manual that I have lists different harnesses than the one on my unit. Can someone out there with DEI access please get me a copy of the most recent Viper 5901 installation manual?

The harnesses are different yes, but the colour scheme is the same, the eighteen pin connector encorporates the auxillary harness wiring, the remote start input wiring and the remote start output wiring! You should be good if you just use the same colour scheme from the current manual!

Also my bitwriter doesn't read this latest version of the 5901 it read the older version, i assume there is a new chip for it, can anyone shed light on this matter?
