i have a 2008 dodge ram diesel auto that i intend to install a python 872 using a chall interface. in regards to parklight flash the 872 handles the flash when the remote start feature is activated. the flash during the secuity feature is handled by chall interface. right.  check my thoughts and work on this.i am going to use the onboard (872) flash relay for remote start flash. i have removed the onboard (872) flash fuse and installed one 1k, a 100  and 33 ohm resistor in series (test = 1134ohm). for negative trigger. reference pg. 25 of 872 install guide. cut the white /light green wire from the lightswitch of the vehicle (this must be a multiplex (mux) wire). connect the white wire of the H1 harness (872) to the switch side and the WHITE/ brown wire of the H1 harness (872) to the body control module (BCM) side. using the white parklight wire from the chall connect it directly to the BCM side of the WHITE/ light green wire no relay or resistor needed because it as a mux output its just not provided for in D2D with the 872. right. i have more questions when i get a reply to this. 12volt is the number one site for diy. i installed a Kenwood DNX9140 with new door speakers, subwoofer, and amp in my truck with you guys help. it when scary easy. looks good  sounds awesome Thanks to anyone and everyone for all the great info.
