So I'm looking at installing something from the Python Responder LE line with the CANAMX400DEI...I haven't done an install in 4 or 5 years and having trouble wrapping my head around this. The only connections required are 2 wires (RX/TX) on the 20 pin CANAMX400DEI

And then the 12+ constant, siren +, ground, parking light (all on H1 connector). And the H3 connector (all the ING/starter) connections applicable.
It just seems too easy.

you'll still need to hook up the plug with tach, hood pin, NSS, etc..... but yah, that's about it...

I hope you are getting the canmax dirt cheap....that would be the only way I could justify using that module on that vehicle. Basically, by using the canmax in D2D it will only save you from making 4 more connections compared to the module I would use.....idatalink ads-tb. 12,ign,ground,and gwr....3 of the connections, you will already be making for the remote start. I'm not saying the canmax won't work....but you might be able to save a little money by using something else.
