I am attempting to install a Cliord remote start model 1.2 with Xpresskit TBXKEY in a 2004 Honda Odessy.  I can not get it to start The remote is functioning and I have the  keypad  unlocked.  I have several questions if anyone can help.

1.) Do I need to connect Iginiton 2 wire ?  The Honda has wire for it in the steering column.  I've connected it and disconnected it and no difference.

2.) How do I connect the Xpresskit ?  I have an OEM key in it and I placed the antenna loop around the key cylinder.  I've hooked up the constant 12v, GND and the GWR (ground while running) to the status output of the remote start.  I placed the jumper to 18 windings for most Asian vehicles and I placed the other jumper to OEM key.  Do I need to disconnect the factory transponders ring antenna ?  I can't find it.

3.) I've checked and double checked GNDs, powers and ignition wires but still does not start.

If there is a second ignition wire in the vehicle, use it.  Don't know about Honda's, but if you don't use IGN 2 on chevy's it will cause transmission issues.

Sounds like the bypass is wired properly.  Its pretty much put the key in the box put the ring around the cylinder and you are good to go.

What happens when you try to remote start the vehicle?  Can you lock and unluck the doors from the clifford remote?  If it cranks but doesnt start when you remote start it, try to remote start it with the factory key in the ignition in the off position.  If that works, the problem is in your bypass.

And do that if your remote start module doesnt have a second accessory wire.

I decided not to use the second ignition.  I put the key in the bypass and used the correct jumper setting of 18 windings for Asian vehicles.  The remote appears to be working.  The dome light goes on and off when I do the unlock and lock  but it does not lock or unlock.  When I try to remote start,  The black box gets the signal but no cranking at all.  I was told you have to "learn" the remote.  I reset it and tried that but no luck.  The factory key was put in ignition and I tried the start and still no luck.

No cranking at all? What did you connect your starter output from the starter to? Indicate the colour of the wire!
