Hey everyone! This is my first post, so thanks for the fabulous website loaded with nearly everything I need.
My problem:
I bought an Astra 777 alarm. I want a dash LED and a hidden valet switch but the LED is built into the receiver antenna along with the valet/call switch. All three accessories run off the same ribbon and are branched at the main unit. It seems like one pin on each of the LED and valet switch are jumpered together and the other 2 go to the antenna.
1. Can I somehow add a second LED (dash) to my alarm without disabling the valet?
2. Could I completely disable the built in LED for a dash LED?
The manual is here: scytek.net/manuals/astra/a777.pdf. There is a picture of the antenna on page 23.
Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.

I have the same alarm but mine is wired as having both antenna led and dash led. Mine came with 2 so I used both by splicing the dash led into the antenna led plug.
You can just leave the antenna led plug (red one) unplugged to disable the antenna led and plug in another led for the dash.

I tried adding jumping an led across the red terminal pins. All I had was a solid light. I will try removing the red connector all together and see if I can get the flashes I desire. Maybe I need a resistor as well?
Thanks.
