Hi, I have an issue with viper alarm, due to battery fault it seems it reseted somehow. The problem is I bought a car from second owner and he also don't got a clue about wich alarm system is installed in a car.
The problem is I have a 4 button remote with LOCK button, UNLOCK, AUX and PANIC(Horn)buttons. Usually when car is open and windows are down and I press same time AUX + HORN it would lock all locks and raise up the windows but wouldn't activate alarm or should I say arm itself.
Now it doesn't close up the windows anymore and also I had one touch window down or up, pushing window button more than 1 sec would fully close or open windows.
Main problem is in identification of the system, I tried searching for viper module behind relay board on driver's side etc but didn't see anything therte except that "radar" thingy from viper. The system also has remote ignition when I press lock and unlock buttons, but as I seen on some other systems it don't have zone bypassing when you press lock butons more times. also it has some kind of engine imobiliser, a flashy Viper sticker on front windscreen wich flashes when armed, and standard LED on driver side also pulsing when armed.
Is there a way to find out what viper system I have without dismounting complete dashboard?
thx for any help

No but check your windows from the switches, see if they still have one-touch. If not you need to do a switch reset. Ignition on raise window via switch and hold for 30 seconds. Switch down and again hold for 30 seconds. Repeat with other window. This should restore the one-touch then you can see if Viper is doing this.
Is your LED on constantly or flashing?
Remove the glovebox, that's where it will be, but why couldn't you trace the wiring back from the prox detector(radar), LED or window EL sticker?
