So I've been looking around for a bypass for my 2011 Subaru Legacy (same as 2010) and I was told that there are no keyless options available with the exception of one which required a dealer scan tool. Today I came across ADS-AL(DL)-SUB. Is this all I'm required to hook up to my remote starter system in order to bypass or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.

The iDatalink ADS AL CA loaded with the ADS AL(DL) SUB firmware will not do the transponder function.  It will do the Alarms, Doors, Trunk and supply a Tach signal and the Door, Trunk, Brake and E-Brake status's.

There is a solution coming out very shortly from iDatalink called Klon.  It will bypass the transponder system without loosing a key or needing a Dealer Scan Tool.  However, you must be a authorized iDatalink Installer to perform this process with their ADS TB module.

I tell my friends to ask  the Salesman to throw in an extra valet key as part of the purchase just before agreeing to sign the sales contract...

Soldering is fun!
