I have a Cm5000 with a 2WSHLCD-R-5P remote,not sure which module for bypass but it's keyless.
It was installed 2 months ago.Intermitently the alarm would not disarm if door is opened by the cars factory keyfob. Also intermitently the door would not lock when using the compustarts remote but the alarm would arm. Also the reliabillity issue;Sometime the remote works from way far through walls,at times it would not work from within inches from the windshield. Also even though it is enabled it would not lock the door when the engine is started up with the factory key at the ignation switch, but when the engine is turned off sometimes send a signal to open the door.
The firmware had been updated, system checked many times by the crosseyed sharpshooter installer.Any idea&help is appreciated!
The only lead I have is that he programmed the unit with his laptop as a 2009 rav4 not a 2010.He say there is no difference?!

Did your installer connect the key sense?
Also found and this may be related that if owners still use the factory remote it tends to throw the alarm's lock/unlock out of synch.
