I'm working with my 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe a Viper 5301 remote start and keyless entry is installed and working great for several months.
After about a month of a dead battery the remote won't talk to the brain (shipped my car here to S. Korea). I installed the system myself (with the help of this site) and all had been working great for months prior to the shipment.
I tried re pairing the remote, but after holding down the "F" button for the required 10-12 seconds nothing happens (including the 3 sec notification does not come on).
I was able to get the remote to work just fine a couple of times by pressing the brain button a few times randomly also I did get the pairing sequence to work once but the amber F light stayed on. However each time I got it working, a few minutes later I was back to square one........meaning nothing happens but the error beep when I push the remote buttons.
This is probably something simple, I really appreciate any advice.
Thanks

Try unplugging the antenna and replugging it in after a minute.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

thanks for the tip, no luck so far.
Anyone other tips?
In my most recent attempt, I had to fuss with "program/valet switch" which stayed a solid blue. I also noticed that lock/unlock, while they worked I also got an error buzz. Was not long before the remote stopped controlling the locks though.

have you check all the +12V inputs on the brain to make sure you're getting power everywhere you should. Have seen fuses blow while jumpstarting. Though its a rare occurence its happened a few times. I'd also try unplugging the brain entirely and plug it back in
