Hey everyone, Its been a while sense I've posted about anything. I'm installing a Clifford 50.7x in my 2008 Tacoma Pre Runner V6. (hope that covers everything)    I know the truck has two ignitions an two starters. The alarm is capable of controlling both ignitions and one starter with the Primary harness and with the secondary harness using a relay. Or vise versa. My question is what do you think is best to use the Primary harness with? the ignition or the starter? I Currently have the ignition connected and the relay pushing the second starter but when I turn my key I get THE GRIND. I hope that makes sense. Let me know if you want any more info. I will post the links to the truck wiring diagram and the manual below. Thanks in advance!

It theoretically doesn't matter. If you get a crank when the car is remote started you need to make sure your starter kill is connected to the wire that actually makes the vehicle crank. In my experience if a car has two starter wires only one will actually crank the starter. The remote start uses the starter kill relay to prevent the starter from cranking.
Does the starter kill feature work at all?

Hey, Thanks for the info. You set me in the right path. It turns out hat I had the first and secondary starters reversed. There are two diagrams on the site and they both contradict themselves. ( well the starter part ) I got it taken care of and really appreciate the help.
