I am having issues getting this van to RS.
It will start with the key in the ignition.
I am using:
Avital 4113
ADS-TB Bypass
I was told that this bypass is not compatible with this vehicle.
Is that accurate?
Has anyone run into this before?
The bypass has been programmed correctly as far as I can tell.

The ADS TB is a good no key required choice for that van.  The ADS TB must be flashed with the ADS TB CH6 firmware

using a special ADS USB cable connected to a PC on the internet.

Here is a link the iDatalink web site:  http://www.idatalink.com/support/helpdesk   Look up the vehicle and download

the ADS TB CH6 install guide for more info.

Assuming it has the correct firmware loaded and is connected properly, try doing a Factory Reset, set the Installation

Mode, and re-program to the van.

Soldering is fun!

Well this is what I am worried about.
I have not dealt with mux starters before.
I am wired up per directechs diagram #1083 with a resisted ground on the PURPLE / brown 2nd starter wire through a relay.
Could that be causing some confusion with the bypass?

what size resistor are you using? There is one size for starter and one for accessory

I am using a 180 ohm resistor on the PURPLE / brown wire.
The relay is as follows
87 - Ground through the 180 ohm resistor
86 - 12v
85 - -starter output from Avital 4113. I used the purple wire on the    4 pin harness
30 - to PURPLE / brown wire

The iDatalink bypass module controls the MUX Start thru Data.  As per this note below :

*** IMPORTANT *** IN ORDER TO CONTROL THE SECOND START FEATURE THROUGH DATA, THIS WIRE MUST
BE CONNECTED TO THE VEHICLE STARTER WIRE IN PARALLEL WITH THE REMOTE STARTER (+) STARTER OUTPUT

Follow the Type 1 wiring guide and be sure to connect the dashed starter wire as shown.

The Avital would be connected to the van's Ignition ( Pink/White ), and Starter ( Yellow ) but

no relay / connection to the PURPLE / Brown MUX wire.  Try disconnecting Relay Pin 30 ( or just
pulling the relay from its socket harness ) and then a remote start.

Soldering is fun!

After making sure everything worked, started putting it back together Why would the radio, a/c not work during rs or starting with key?
Also sounded like the starter was being engaged about 2 seconds too long.
Worked fine with key turned back in acc.
Was on phone with support and decided it was a faulty ignition switch.
Seems I have seen a post like this somewhere but cannot find it.
