Wanting to get a remote starter for my girlfriend's 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and have it installed.
Looking to get this one from Avital: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002KRJOX0/
I know I need a bypass of some sort but it's confusing. I do not want to get one that you put a key inside. Can anyone here recommend what to order from Amazon?

I like idatalink stuff you could get a ADS-BLADE-AL. But make sure it comes with the ADS-ALSL-CH6 firmware already flashed for you. Otherwise you will need the USB flasher cable from idatalink. You could also look into the aviatal 4103 will give you keyless entry as well. If you go to idatalink.com and put your truck in you can download the install guide and see if its something you want to tackle

Thank you for the reply. I am NOT going to be doing the install, I am taking it to a local shop to do, but I have bought the Avital remote start kit and need to know which bypass to buy for the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, preferably from Amazon since I can order it and have it in two days using Amazon Prime.
Can anyone provide an answer?

Wait, I'm sorry, I misunderstood. I went to the idatalink.com site and it lists these as compatible:
ADS-AL CA
ADS-DL
ADS-TB
ADS-ALSL CH
ADS-BLADE AL
ADS-BLADE TB
This one is listed on Amazon and ships with Prime so I can get it asap: ADS Data Immobilizer Bypass Module (ADSTB)
Will it work?

Yes I did, but it seems like the one available is an older model, and not sold by Amazon.
Here it is: ADS-BLADE AL

It looks to be right. I would contact the seller to see if they can flash it before they send it to you. You're installer doesn't have or can't get a bypass for you. that way he uses one that he is familiar with
