Hello...

I am in need of some advice as I have not encountered this before.  I am trying to hoo up an Autostart to a 2005 Toyota Solara.  The Solara has 2 Ignition wires and 2 Starter wires.  The Autostart (AS-1272) Has a jumper for the 5th relay (Accessories 2 Jumper, Ignition 2 Jumper, Starter 2 Jumper).  My question is: DO I use both jumpers?? (Ignition & Starter) if so, how would I accomplish this as there is only one wire (green) for the 5th relay?  Any advice/help would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your time....

Pete

use the 5th relay for your additional ignition.
the secondary start use a relay and connect like so
85 - ground when running (status output)
86 - start (+) from unit
87 - constant 12v
30 - second start wire.
or
85 - second start (-) from unit
86 - constant 12v
87 - constant 12v
30 - second start wire.

That's great!  Thanks for your reply and expertise!  I will do this and let you know.  I will use your first method.  Thanks again!

Pete.

First method, GWR to 85 is safer, that way there's NO continuity between the starter wires.
Except if you only have one GWR and it's already running a by-pass, don't forget to diode them away from each other.
