Hi, im trouble shooting an 04 accord 5spd and cant figure it out. The battery in the car died and needed boosting, and ever since, it wont command start. The car will not go into ready mode, and if I do press the start button, the lights flash 5 times. It doesn't appear to be in valet mode, and Ive tried exiting it just to be safe? Pressing the remote just arms/unlocks.
The unit is an autostart as-2471tw
Any thoughts, would definitely appreciate it!

Did you check the parking brake and hood pin connections to make sure they weren't changed (especially the hood pin). Also check all of the fuses for the unit.
I would also keep looking into the valet mode to be 100% sure. I'm not sure if the Autostarts are the same, but with Compustar units if the battery is disconnected (or goes dead) the unit puts itself into Valet mode as a safety precaution.

You have lost tach programming that's why you get this error.
Open your hood, start the car and hold your brakes until the unit clicks 5times. Release brake set reservation mode and test
