Ok, so I just picked up a 2000 Plymouth Neon 5spd, BUT it has been swapped to an 05 Dodge Neon SRT-4, including the wiring harness on the inside of the car.
I want to add power door locks and power windows...I was thinking of just going to the local scrap yard and yanking out the wiring and motors for both the door locks and power windows from a neon with all power options, however I am not sure if they will just plug an play or if the wiring will be different.
If anyone knows if they're the same harnesses or different and if different what is what, it'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Highly reccomend getting the OEM window motors, and switches too if you like. Some research into what is there in the car will help with your other question, or you can get a universal power window switch kit and run the OEM motors off that. I have had 0 luck with the SPAL window motors so stay away from those.

The door locks really dont matter. All aftermarket lock motors are pretty much created equal, and really arent any better or worse than OEM. Just takes a little engineering to physically move the locks.

To master and control electricity is perfection. *evil laugh*

OK in essence RJ you are absolutely correct and I do believe that Neon follows Spal lo0ck and windows.

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of factory stuff from a neon. Would I be able to just add the power door lock switch, metal arms that attach to the little...flipper i guess on the door lock on the door, and plug the wire in? Or do I need the actual latch to be power also? Sorry if it doesn't make sense.

You have to see if all the looms are in place in the doors, very much doubt it but they are you probably only have to add fuses and switches and relay and motors and actuators to make it go
