Hey guys,
Got a question about the Viper5902 "Remote Start, (H3) 10-pin connector". I know I need to connect the "H3/1 Pink (+) IGNITION 1 INPUT/OUTPUT" to the car's ignition wire (or should car ignition go to H3/6 Red instead?), and I need to connect the "H3/7 Pink/White (30) FLEX RELAY OUTPUT (car side of ign, acc or starter wire)" as output for Ignition 2(+) for the PKALL. Do I need to connect anything else in H3?

Thanks! Is the light green on the driver side fuse (I tested a few wires, but most of them drop to 10V on crank). Also, is the +12V White a constant 12V, and H3/2 and H3/6 can share the same wire?

The +12V White wire is capable of 80 Amps, so all Viper / PKALL power wires can go there.  Fuse accordingly.

There appear to be several places to get the Ignition1 wire, but I would try to follow the PKALL guide.  Being as the PKALL is cousin to the Fortin Key-Override-All, you could

compare that install guide ( https://ifar.ca/download/5671/preview.html ) and even try the Fortin WireColor service ( which lists 29 wires and  has12 pictures
available for the 2008 IS350 ).

OK, so I gone to WireColor and subscribe to their 1 time use and look up the wires, the pictures are helpful, but the wire colors don't match my car though some of the wires do match.
Anyways, I got all the wires hook up, but the remote start is not starting properly. It will simply turn on the car without the engine running. If I step on the brake and then press the remote start button, the car will start and run. Does that mean the brake wire is not attached properly? Or is there some setting I need to do on the Viper? I thought brake wire is only to kill the engine when there is no key detected ...

I should mention that when I start the car normally with the keyless push button in the car, I need to step on the brake before pushing the button -- if that makes any difference...

Assuming you wired as per the above H3 post.  Use a DMM to verify some wires :

Viper H3/2 and H3/6 should show +12V all the time.
Viper H3/7 should show +12V during a remote start attempt.          ***Viper programmed for IGN2
Pull the 5 Amp fuse in the PKALL Relay 1b and 2b connection to the IS350's Brake wire and check it for continuity.
Connect the meter to PKALL Relay 1b ( or 2b ) and verify +12V when you depress the brake pedal.

Last but not least, verify your IGN1 diode is installed with the band going the correct direction.  If necessary,

test the diode with the DMM or just replace with a new one.

One last thought.  Did you program a "Diesel Wait to Start" delay of at least 5 seconds?  This is necessary for the

Ignition2 output to be turned on and then forwarded on to the car as the Brake depressed signal it needs to see
before an engine start is allowed.  See the note in the "Functionality" section at the upper right corner of the
PKALL install guide.

Thanks for the suggestions; I'll test out those voltages and the fuse (forgot about that it might be burn last time I cover it up).
The IGN1 diode should be correct as I use it on the alarm, and it's able to detect the ignition.
The "Diesel wait to Start", I initially had it to default, then I changed it to 15 seconds (the option available) ... I'll check the setting on the alarm again this Thursday or weekend (I was planning to get it working this past weekend :/)

You'll have to import the Viper, not sold in the UK so no warantee.
Clifford has less features but is far more solid and reliable if correctly installed.

I got it working!!! :D Thanks for all the help!
I reconnect the brake wire and test the voltages when I press on the brake and then test the voltage when remote starting to see 12V at the brake wire connection. After that, I remote start and it worked!
Thanks again, couldn't have done it without your help.
Oh howie II, you reply to the wrong thread :-)
