So I'm in the process of installing a car alarm which I haven't done before.
Anyways, I have a few problems...
1) Remote start doesn't start, but the antenna is blinking rapidly.
2) Parking light does not turn on. The diagrams say to connect to door trigger wire. I attached to + parking light, shows 12 volts in ACC and Run positions.
3) I haven't installed my bypass but I put the key in to bypass the remote starter and try with the remote but nothing.
Do I need a relay for the parking light? One wire diagram I read suggests a relay is needed. Also, I connected both 12 volt constants together from the remote starter to the ignition constant. Should I connect this directly to the battery?
Thanks in advance!

Show what you've connected to where.
In what world does the parking light have anything to do with door trigger?
Door trigger is red, NEG (-), front of fusebox, parking lights are something like GREEN / WHITE NEG (-) steering column loom.
You have 2 ignition wires, connect both (use a relay) if the Prostart doesn't have this provision.
Info should be on this site, either Vehicle Wiring or Downloads/Manuals section.
Ignition constants or thick white feed to fusebox , either are adequate for your 12v+ constant.
Ground to an existing bolt in the kick panel area, scrape the metal bare under the bolt.

You will need a by-pass also connect key sense*, 05 wiring is in the vehicle wiring section, it's the same as 06.
*From status output (GWR) or third NEG (-) on Prostart if one is available. If not split the GWR to keysense and by-pass via 2 1N4004 diodes, bands towards Prostart.

And as Howie suggest, please post what wires are connected to what on the car.

Thanks for the replies so far.
On the bottom of the wiring diagrams it says:
NOTE #3: For the DOOR PIN TRIGGER, on the 2006 use the RED (-) wire, FRONT of the
FUSE BOX, 10-Pin Plug
NOTE #4: For DOME LIGHT SUPERVISION on the 2006, use the DOOR PIN TRIGGER wire,
RED (-) wire, FRONT of the FUSE BOX, 10-Pin Plug
And for the wires connected...
Connected two 12volt constants together then connected to single 12volt constant wire in car
Starter wire
Ignition 1
Ignition 2 - 5th relay on remote start + jump settings
Accessory/heat
Parking Lights + to green in driver kick panel
Brake
Ground – connected to a bolt where another ground wire is attached
Hood pin switch – went through firewall grommet
Ground when running to bypass (bypass not hooked up yet)

On this car as most Toyotas door trigger is the red as stated, dome supervision not needed.
Try and go through your wiring, key in ignition to see if at least your lights on the instrument panel are coming on.
Make sure your hood pin works correctly, make sure it only goes to ground when hood is opened.
Check your R/S outputs, also have you programmed the green wire as a second ignition?
Parking lights are NEG (-) GREEN / WHITE? (test) in steering column loom.
So that's two mistakes so far and you still haven't given us your wire colour to wire colour connections.
Parking lights are the outside lights that come on when you turn you lighting switch to the first position.
Dome light is what comes on when you open a door and will stay on after closing for 1 minute or until you either turn on the ignition or exit and lock the car.
I had to write those two sentences in bold because I'm not sure you understand what's going on here or what you're quite supposed to be doing, soon your name will be Booohooo.
So please pay attention and please do what we ask for such as your connections, time trouble and $$$ saved in the long run.

Thanks Howie.
Sorry, I don't know what I was thinking last night about the door trigger. I mixed it up.
I meant to say the parking light is connected, but the parking lights do not come on when I try to program it via the hoodpin switch.
I can't even get into program mode, so maybe I hooked up the parking light wrong? Although I do get voltage in the right positions...

That's why I gave you a NEGATIVE switched option. Yellow/white on 3pin harness of Prostart.
Did you test and verify your hood switch as only going to ground on opening the hood?
There's also a purple wire on the 12 pin harness. Sounds silly but try grounding this wire, I used this trick to make a Prestige R/S enter programming mode and believe it or not it worked.
Last but not least two things:-
How are you joining your cables?
I should have mentioned this first but have checked for voltage should be around 12.5V+ between your ground and R/S fuses?
