I have installed a viper 5704 on a 04 chevy silverado, now this truck has a RF remote kill swicht which has been installed before, i have looked for it but had no luck finding it to remove it!so the problems is that it has short distance (bout 30 feet) and the viper wont start the truck if i dont press on the remotes kill swicth in less than 30 feet.does any one know this types of systems!?or how can i make it work with the viper system ?can i add that remotes code to the vipers remote?or how can i findd it ddisable it!the remote doesnt say what brand it is, its oval shape with two buttons on it! thank u!!

No it can,t be added to the viper, you will need to either tie the remoter starter wire after the unit or remove it.
If it were inside the vehicle you should have noticed the starter wire had been spliced somwhere near where you tied in the remote start, otherwise it is under the hood. Start by tracing the wire from the switch to the fire wall. Then if you don't find it start at the starter and trace back to the PCM (underhood) and then back to firewall. Also look for wires that have been run through the firewall next to factory wires.
